The following module focuses on the importance of motivation in the process of teaching a language with imagination.

In the following sections, various types of motivation and their influence on learners are discussed. Beyond any shadow of doubt, motivating students often poses a challenge to their teachers. In many cases, students may experience numerous difficulties whilst acquiring a foreign language and hence frequently end up feeling demotivated and discouraged.

This module offers a thorough analysis of motivational strategies which may be applied by tutors in their teaching routine. If they want to help students reach their full potential and ease the long journey to becoming fluent in a foreign language, they most certainly need to use one of the most effective tools, namely appropriate and productive motivational strategies.

Furthermore, several successful teachers share their knowledge and perspectives concerning their daily practice of teaching foreign languages to students of various ages.

There are only three things of importance to successful learning:

    motivation, motivation and motivation . . .

any fool can teach students who want to learn.
